Dzmitry Kliazovich is a Research Fellow at the University of Trento (Italy) and Scientific Advisor for Wireless Communications at the Create-Net Research Center (Italy). He received his Masters degree from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics in 2002, and Ph.D. degree from the University of Trento, Italy, in 2006 both in Telecommunications science.
His PhD dissertation received Best PhD thesis award. In 2005/2006 he was a visiting researcher at the Computer Science Department of the University of California at Los Angeles. In 2006 he was a visiting researcher at Siemens (Italy) carrying research activities related to 3G Long-Term Evolution (LTE). He is a holder of several scientific awards including grants provided by IEEE Communication Society, Italian Ministry of Education, and University of Trento.
He is an author of more than 30 research papers and active member of Technical Program Committee for ICC, GLOBECOM, and CAMAD. His main research activities are in the field of networking with the focus on cross-layer design and next-generation networking.
