Established in 2003, CREATE-NET is a unique international Research Center lead by Prof. Imrich Chlamtac.

CREATE-NET’s objective is to sponsor top quality research and innovation by creating synergies between leading academic institutions, companies and research centers in Europe and around the world. Building a global platform of scientific collaboration oriented towards the experimentation in communications-driven technologies and their applications on the society and the market is also one of CREATE-NET’s main goals. By converting talent and human capital into patents and start-ups, CREATE-NET promotes European high-tech competitiveness.

Through research and development of these technologies, CREATE-NET strives to impact communications-enabled services improving the quality of life of the global society.

Being an international association, CREATE-NET also acts as a promoter of “globalization of knowledge and research” facilitating the cooperation and interaction of research competences around the world to become the focal point in Europe for engineering of research/innovation.

At the same time, besides its international scope, one of CREATE-NET key objectives is to provide significant benefits to the Autonomous Province of Trento by bringing technology and business talent, enhancing the prestige of the province internationally and making an important contribution to the local economy.
