Job Description
|
The successful candidate will work in the UBiNT research group, supporting the Area Head in the overall activities of the group with special focus in the design and evaluation of prototypes and systems based on user centric methodologies. The research themes carried on within the UBiNT group are interdisciplinary, focusing in the design, development, evaluation and understanding of user centered, interactive ubiquitous computing environments, with a particular focus on pervasive healthcare and multimodal interaction application areas.
Key areas of research include user centered prototyping, user studies, and usability evaluation of the solutions developed.

Technical Skills
|
The successful candidate must have a strong background in HCI, and proven experience in design of interactive systems, and a strong interest in the specific themes mentioned above.
Experience or interest in any of the following areas would be advantageous: design and evaluation of interfaces for users with special needs; design of multimodal interfaces; mobile applications; edutaiment; cognitive sciences; physical computing; interaction design; and related.

Organization Skills
|
Should have experience in preparing projects proposals and in working within national and European research teams or consortiums, being able to work both autonomously and as a team member. Experience managing international distributed teams e.g. within projects, scientific events and collaborations is desirable.

|
Languages
|
Knowledge of English is mandatory, Italian could be an advantage.
