Dr. Papliatseyeu received the BSc degree (cum laude) in Electronics from the Belarusian State University, Belarus, in 2004, with a thesis on web-based distant learning techniques. From July 2003 till September 2004 he was employed at Spetspribor, Belarus, developing controlling software for measuring and laboratory equipment. In 2004–2007 he studied in the University of Edinburgh, UK and the University of Trento, Italy within the framework of European Master in Informatics project. Subsequently, in March 2007 he received a joint MSc in Informatics degree from both universities, with a thesis on supporting biologists performing PCR experiments with Implicit Culture approach. Since November 2006 he is a PhD student at the University of Trento with collaboration with Create-Net, in the area of smart environments, context– and location–aware applications, intelligent data processing and integration. |
