Innovation

UBiNT innovation activity is oriented towards the development of prototypes and demos to show the exploitation potential of our research work. In this line, we have created a portfolio of prototypes, including tangible interfaces, biofeedback based interaction, FM radio-based indoors localization system, persuasive user interfaces and many others. Some of the application domains we have targeted include interactive storytelling systems for children, wellbeing and healthcare applications and assistive technologies. Our innovation work, among other activities, includes filing of Smart-Buttoning patent and collaborations with Industry in projects such as Geomedia and iTheater.
