Luigi Telesca is an expert in Business Models, Digital Ecosystems, Supply Chain Management and Optimization Algorithms. He received his degree in Economics and Business Administration from Università di Bologna, Italy. He obtained various Post Laurea titles and earned an international Master in Networked Economy (MiNE) an initiative of the Center for Research on the Applications of Telematics to Organizations and Society (CRATOS) of the Università Cattolica at Piacenza, in collaboration with the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) of the University of California at Berkeley. Since year 2000 he has been a consultant for various ICT firms in Italy, particularly on new business and marketing models based on new technologies and he has extensive experience in project management and accounting of projects funded by national organizations/institutions, EC and international organizations. He also gave lectures on Business Organization at Profingest Management School in Bologna. Since May 2003, Dott. Telesca joined CREATE-NET research center in Trento(Italy) with both organizational and research task. He has been Funding and Dissemination co-ordinator for the CREATE-NET Research Center since 2003 and in 2006 has been appointed as Area Head for OSCO Research Department.
Luigi Telesca is also project coordinator of a Digital Ecosystem cluster project called ONE “Open Negotiation Environment”. ONE main objective is to provide an open, decentralized negotiation environment and enabling tools that will allow organizations to create contract agreements for supplying complex, integrated services as a virtual organization/coalition. Dott. Telesca was also Workpackage leader the OPAALS Project, a Network of Excellence in the Digital Ecosystem Cluster. Finally Luigi was appointed in 2007 as Funding and Marketing Director of the Center.
