Roberto Riggio at IEEE IM 2015

Roberto Riggio, senior researcher of the Future Networks area at CREATE-NET, will attend the IEEE IM 2015 conference which will take place in Ottawa (CA) from May 11th till May 15th 2015

IEEE IM 2015 is the IEEE CNOM flagship event . The theme of the 2015 edition of the conference is "Integrated Management in the Age of Big Data” and will examine the potential of Big Data to improve the quality of management in a number of areas, including: Network Management, Service Management, & Business Management, as well as in management approaches and methodologies.

Roberto Riggio will present and demonstrate the results of the ongoing activities on programmable wireless and mobile networks carried out in CREATE-NET within the Empower project. In particular, he will present a novel work in the field of interference management in software defined wireless networks at the main conference track titled “Interference Management in Software–Defined Wireless Networks”. Moreover, he will talk about some preliminary results in the domain of Virtual Network Function orchestration in the wireless and mobile networks domain with a speech on “Virtual Network Functions Orchestration in Enterprise WLANs”.

Finally, he will present a joint demo “What’s around me? Location analytics over Software–Defined WLANs” developed with the start-up U-Hopper within the framework of Locos project. It deals with location analytics and mobile advertising over software defined wireless infrastructures.
