Antonio Francescon received the Laurea Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2005, with a thesis on a centralized parking monitoring and management system based on wireless sensor network architecture.
At CREATE-NET, Antonio started with sensor board programming, in particular on ad hoc synchronization mechanism and power consumption optimization.
He then moved to the Network area, working on the development of web applications for network and telecommunication monitoring, later focusing on Optical Network Monitoring (Control Plane development).
From October 2013 to December 2015 Antonio joined the Future Media Solutions (FraME) area, where he has worked on platforms and applications for IoT devices integration and management and multimedia applications for Augmented Reality/Immersive 3D scenarios.
Starting from January 2016 Antonio joined again the Future Network area, working on Network Function Virtualization.
